Sets were modular and composed

mainly of insulation foam sheets. 

These could be taken apart and

reconstructed into a new set.

The entire film was storyboarded and

the storyboard mounted on a wall.

As each scene was filmed it was burned

to a disk, which was pinned to

the scene drawing.

The young actors did all

their own stunts...

... Which occasionally got

rather intense.

A $30 ultralight ride over

the Mojave provided some of the

aerial footage.
